Russia, China, Starvation and the KoN
Here is the question. What is going to happen, when the King of the North comes to his end? Notice what this verse says.
Dan 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain, yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
2 points to consider.
- Starting in Daniel 11:40 through to 45, it can be plainly seen that this is not a spiritual battle, but a physical one. Where armies battle.
- The statement, “none shall help “him,” indicates that someone had supported “him” before.
- Who supported “him?” It was the 4 European powers that helped last time, in the end, it will be the 4 world powers that bring it all to an end.
- Who was this “him?” It was Turkey. The Eastern Question is once again coming to life.
Note this quote from the Ellen White.:
God does not design that men shall appropriate all that the earth produces for their own selfish purposes. He calls upon them to bring their tithes and offerings into His storehouse, that there may be meat in His house. In India, China, Russia, and the cities of America, thousands of men and women are dying of starvation. The monied men, because they have the power, control the market. They purchase at low rates all they can obtain and then sell at greatly increased prices. This means starvation to the poorer classes and will result in a civil war. 14LtMs, Ms 114, 1899, par. 7
The world’s most powerful nations are all being challenged at the same time. They will have riots in their countries due to starvation. What does this do to the world theater? When these nations are so occupied with what is happening in their countries. This is the signal for the King of the North to invade Jerusalem. This next quote kind of seals the deal, so to speak. Notice what she says directly after the quote mentioned above.
There will be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation. “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. … Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.” [Daniel 12:1, 10.] 14LtMs, Ms 114, 1899, par. 8
She goes directly into Daniel 12:1. What we have here is a waymark that is mind-blowing. When the starvation strikes, Russia, China, India, and the cities of the US, we need to watch what is happening in the Middle East. For shortly after that, the King of the North comes to his end.
Now is the time where we have to lay everything on the altar. To have no regrets, for all that we have is not our own, it is but a gift from the Father. When we do this, we begin to remove the walls we have erected, that have kept us from our Father’s blessings. Our problem, when realized, is we do not like to let go and trust in our Father’s wise bestowment.
